For Power
Verse // Spring 2025
Beyond the veil of lightyears and hours, Zeus’s lightning cleaves lack of motion Voiding and making our dreaming ocean. All things have been wombed in that sea, Old gods and gods to come, and the Lost heroes, scattered with one soul. I bear the burden of the broken whole, And tread the shadowed path of all who be. Within becoming’s clay, the lightning longs— Cracking ice, growing vines—for power.
